I am 20 years old and I like a girl (Kaitlin) who I hooked up with in the past, but it never got anywhere because I was 18 or so and I didnt know how to really tell a girl how I felt... so we stopped hooking up. Then I went out with this girl Dana for about a year, then about 11 months into the relationship I hooked up with Kaitlin again while I was with my girlfriend. Now me and my girl broke up because of that and now here I am a year later and I like Kaitlin alot but let me say we always talk online and she calls me alot at weird hours but the funny thing is that she goes away to college now but calls me out of nowhere... the bottom line is, how do I get her to know that I really like her and that I would be the best thing that ever happened to her? How do i know if she really likes me?
Melissa answers:
You`re going to have to be brave my dear young man, and find out what`s going on with her. Is she so far away at college that you can`t go visit her? The next time she calls you need to tell her that you miss seeing her in person (you don`t have to get heavy on the phone) and want to know when the next time is that the two of you can get together.
If she`s open to the idea then there`s a very good chance she`s as into you as you`re into her... but if she stalls, it`s possible she likes you, but views you mostly as a friend that she calls when she`s lonely. If she stalls on seeing you keep the conversation short but sweet. Each time she calls after that repeat the question of getting together a few more times, and again, KEEP THE CONVERSATIONS SHORT. Make sure she understands you have other things going on. If she refuses to make plans to see you after 3 calls stop being available to take her calls. She`ll probably come around.
